About

Bio

I’m a doctoral student in the Department of Community and Regional Planning at the University of Texas at Austin. My research explores transportation and other urban systems as social determinants of health. I use mixed methods to examine how transportation interacts with housing, employment, and community-led interventions. My goals are to address accessibility gaps and improve community health through planning, research, and teaching. Before starting my PhD at the University of Texas at Austin, I worked at a Chicago-based non-profit and as a transportation planner at an MPO. I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
